I know that there are some wonderful surgeons out there and if it bothers anyone to have wrinkles etc, then go for it. Personally I have reached an age where I am sometimes surprised to see that older woman where that young girl used to be. My consolation is that I am in good health and my husband thinks I'm beautiful. So far that is enough for me.

I like reading your blog. I'm glad you didn't give it up!!

It doesn't really bother me-- I think I look pretty good for my age! But it's hard comparing yourself to movie stars in the neighborhood!

As a beauty I'm not a great star
There are others more handsome by far
My face I don't mind it
    because I'm behind it
It's the folks out if front that I jar

If others can see the work, it's indeed bad cosmetic surgery. If others just think, "wow, doesn't she look lovely", THAT's what you want to pay for!

    Today's quotation

    • They are taking faith and crushing it. Why? Why? When you marginalize faith in America, when you remove the pillar of God given rights then what’s left? The French Revolution. What’s left is a government that gives you rights. What’s left are no unalienable rights. What’s left is a government that will tell you who you are, what you’ll do and when you’ll do it. What’s left in France became the guillotine.
